Laura Gonzalez

Born in Fernán-Núñez (Córdoba), Laura González Toledano was initiated to the flamenco guitar with renowned flamenco musicians Luis Calderito and Antonio Morenoles. She then pursued her training at the Córdoba Conservatory with professors such as Paco Serrano, Carlos Pacheco, Manuel Martín del Campo, Manolo Franco and El Niño de Pura. At the same time, she obtained a teaching degree in 2001. She is a graduate of the Rafael Orozco High Conservatory of Music in Córdoba.

She has performed in many festivals and shows, among which are the «XIII Festival de Jerez», the «XIII Festival International de Guitare de Vendôme», «Esencias», «Al Toque», the «VII Galardón Rafael Romero», the «VII Festival de Otoño de Jaén», the «I Festival flamenco de Otoño '08», «La Noche Blanca del Flamenco« (first, second and third editions), the «XXI Semana de Estudios Flamencos: Hommage à Víctor Monje Serranito», «Flamenquéate un poquito», «Cantaora: la copla contada», and others.

She has accompanied singers such as Pedro Obregón, Niño Jorge, Manolo Canalejas Hijo, Joselete de Linares, Antonia Contreras, Gema Jiménez, Esther Merino or Elena de Carmen.

She currently teaches flamenco guitar at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Jaén.

Jose Rojo

José Rojo was born in Jaén. He started playing the guitar with Tomás Reyes, and subsequently joined the «Peña Flamenca de Jaén» with Paco Aguilar and Antonio Anguita.

He became a virtuoso under the guidance of masters such as Merengue de Córdoba, Paco Serrano, Enrique de Melchor and Manolo Sanlúcar. He also holds a degree in Law from the University of Jaén, as well as a diploma in Flamenco Guitar from the Rafael Orozco High Conservatory of Music in Córdoba.

He has performed in the main flamenco guitar festivals throughout Spain, and has played with artists such as Rosario López, Carlos Cruz, Carmen de la Jara, Rocío Segura, Manolo Canalejas, Niño Jorge, José de la Tomasa, Gabriel Moreno, Lolita Valderrama, Juan Valderrama, and others.

Next to his artistic career he also teaches, giving classes and conferences within the regional plan for continuing education in Andalusia, and regularly holding workshops at different universities and festivals. He currently teaches the flamenco guitar at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Jaén.

He has made several recordings either solo or as accompanying guitarist.

Jorge Cano Rodríguez (Percussions)

Jorge Cano

Born in Sevilla, Jorge Cano Rodríguez started his musical training at the Manuel Castillo Music Conservatory, under professors like Pedro Viñedo and José Tur. He further studied interpretation with masters such as Siegfried Fink, Wolfgang Shulugter, and Ruben Dantas, among others.

He has performed and continues to work with several symphonic orchestras, notably the Sevilla «Real Orquesta Sinfónica», the Granada «Orquesta Cuidad», the Jaén «Orquesta Sinfónica», the Andalusian «Orquesta Filarmónica», as well as the «Orquesta Arsian».

He currently teaches percussions at the Victoria Eugenia Higher Conservatory of Music in Granada, and gives advanced classes.
