A accurate sense of rhythm, a keen taste for melody and a passion for collective performing - Marc Ducret is probably one of the most brilliant and original young French guitarists of the day. An outstanding jazz guitarist, but also an excellent composer, Ducret's sensibility and inspiration stem from a solid musical structure and stunning fluidity that are the hallmarks of his success.

His curriculum includes film music (“Jazz français à New York„ by Christian Palligiano, as well as short films “De la confiture aux cochons„, “La lettre du Caire„ and “Le Manian„ by Fred Jolfre), as well as orchestral compositions (“2 moyens d'en sortir„ for the ONJ, 2002; “Encore un jour„ for the Micromégas Fanfare, 2003; “Tapage„ for the Printemps des Arts in Monte Carlo, 2004).

Bruno Chevillon, bass

Born in 1959, Bruno Chevillon studied at the Avignon Beaux-Arts from 1979 to 1983, obtaining the Diplôme National d'Expression Plastique.

In 1980, while still studying art, he entered the Conservatoire de Musique in Joseph Fabre's classic double bass class.
In 1983, he began performing jazz and improvised music in a class created by his school. There, his decisive encounter with Louis Sclavis sparked off a collaboration that still continues to this day, with numerous concerts in France and almost all over the world, as well as participations in musical recordings for theatre, dance and cinema.

In 1994, Chevillon created “P. P. P. ou la rage sublime,„ a solo inspired by poet, writer and filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini, in which he intervenes as an instrumentalist, composer and narrator.

In the past few years, he has been intensely involved in theatre, dance (Christian Rizzo), mixed contemporary music (both written and improvised) with Samuel Sighicelli and Benjamin de la Fuente within the Caravaggio group, as well as in the project “Soffio di Scelsi„ with music by Giacinto Scelsi with Jean-Marc Foltz and Stephan Oliva, and improvised music with Jean-Marc Foltz, Hasse Poulsen, Guillaume Roy, Franck Vigroux, Sophie Agnel, Pascal Contet…

Today, he is a regular contributor to projects by Marc Ducret, Michel Portal, Stephan Oliva, Guillaume Roy, Christophe Marguet, and Régis Huby.

He sporadically plays with Sophie Agnel, the Quatuor Arditti, Joey Baron, Claude Barthélémy, Tim Berne, Jean-Paul Celea, François Corneloup, Dave Douglas, Barry Guy, Jean-Pierre Drouet, Joëlle Léandre, Paul Motian, Dominique Pifarely, Hasse Poulsen, Barre Phillips, Wolfgang Puschnig, François Raulin, Wolfgang Reisinger, Yves Robert, Frances-Marie Uitti ...

Bruno Chevillon has recorded around thirty albums to this day.

Eric Echampard, drums

In 1995, Eric Echampard graduated from François Dupin's class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon.

He participated in numerous ensembles, and is notably member of the following: the Marc Ducret Trio, the Michel Portal Quartet, the Portal-Sclavis Quintet, the Andy Emler Mégaoctet et Trio, the Bernard Struber Jazztet, the Caravaggio with Samuel Sighicelli, Benjamin Delafuente and Bruno Chevillon, the Kimmo Pohjonen as a duo, and the Benjamin Moussay Trio.

He equally contributes to the projects of Philippe Deschepper, Rémi Charmasson, Alain Vankenhove, Claude Tchamitchian, François Raulin , François Corneloup, Ars Nova...
